Quitman, Georgia
Quitman is a city in Brooks County, Georgia, United States. ==History==
Quitman was founded in 1858 as seat of the newly formed Brooks County. It was incorporated as a town in 1859 and as a city in 1904. The community was named for John A. Quitman, a hero of the Mexican–American War.
